Oh, whats that? A blog you say?

Yup, I am making a blog/portfolio site for myself. As you see my site, emminar.com, is a littttle bland right now, lol.

So right now I'm working on the layout, then I'll work on the back end stuff.

I'm making my own post management/comment/archive etc system, as I am too good for Wordpress ;)

I'll post some updates soon, the layout's about done. Just tinkering with it to make it look the best it can look.

I never liked Yahoo as much as Google. Google is simple, it does what I need, no more, no less.

That's why I like them. They care about their users more than money. I've seen feedback forms on Google. Yahoo? No. Microsoft? Their site is very messy.

The format on Microsoft's website is inconsistent and hard to navigate.

Microsoft buying Yahoo might actually help Google. You see, here's what's going to happen.

1) Microsoft buys Yahoo.
2) Microsoft adds tons of features no one wants, turning Yahoo's already complex site into a labyrinth.
3) People flock to Google to free themselves from the endless torment of Microsoft's terrible customer service.
4) Yahoo dies.

What is your opinion?

In my opinion, the best browser is FireFox. It works great, loads pages fast, has Add Ons, customizable looks and interfaces.

I have created a list of some browsers, ten being the worst, one being the best.

1) FireFox
2) Flock
3) Safari
4) Netscape Navigator
5) Opera
6) Maxthon
7) Ace Explorer
8) NetCaptor (Not Free)
9) Internet Explorer
10) Slick

Internet Explorer is almost last because it does not comply to standards, giving web developers a very hard time.

Feel free to comment on my order, based on comments and opinions, I might change the current order!

Mac. Easy choice.

I can go on for a very long time about why the best computer is a Mac.

Yeah, sure, you gamers might be thinking about the fact that Macs can't play as many games as Windows, but Windows Vista can't play as many games as XP.

What is wrong here?

I thought at first that getting Vista would be an upgrade. It looked cool, easy to use, and great for what I like doing. So I bought a computer with Vista on it.

Vista is okay, but it's not as good as you may think. Sure, it looks cool, yeah it is easier to use, but the reason I think it is okay is simply the fact that it's almost entirely Mac anyway.

I believe that Microsoft took half the ideas they put into Vista from Apple. Mac widgets? Yes. Vista widgets? Weird, but yes.

Why not run Windows on Mac? There are many programs found anywhere on the internet that will partition your hard drive and install Windows. All with a few clicks of your mouse!

The styling on the Taskbar looks awfully similar to Mac's toolbar. Everything looks like Mac. I believe that in the end Apple is going to win this competition simply because their products are high quality. Microsoft was very impulsive, and barely tested Vista before releasing it.

Another reason: Apple customer support is great. I've never called them and had the problem go unfixed. Microsoft: Call them and enjoy talking to someone from India.

So next time you're looking at computers, Macs may be three times more expensive, but you get what you pay for.
